Photoshop Tutorial : How To Make a Humanoid (Cuborg) Part 2 Advanced

 Hey my friends 

Once the last tutorial for How to convert a photo into a humanoid-part 1 , got lots of views Its time for step 2 
An advanced technique for how to make a " Humanoid - Cyborg " 

- So the difference between the two tutorials is making the depth of field and it is the most important step in the whole process .

the first step , we make the black lines and then we highlight and burn some spots so as to make it like a 3D but in the last step we make a blending option with a lighter black color and add shadows and inner shadows with opposite directions . 

doing this is very simple and easy 

lets se How to apply that technique here and how it could improve the look .

this is the final result that we are going to get .

Step 1 :

make the working lines as the first tutorial  in step 1 

use your brush , it shouldnt look very accurate cause you will delete it .

Now reduce the opacity to 40 % and make a new layer

 with Pen tool over tool over the guided lines make a selection shaped like the lines you want it  to be 

 here   : -  you may use 1 line and make a strock path 

              -  or you caould make a double lines then CTRL+Enter and fill it with the color

                  we use

either ways we need the result to be like below .

Hide the first layer "guide lines" and it should look like Below

Step 2 :

Now Im going to apply the technique that represents level 2 in that art 

- select the lined layer then right click on it , choose blending options .

  and apply inner shadow and drop shadow like below .

notice the blend mood in " drop shadow " its color dodge .

and here is the result .

now it really looks like it is cut  , unlike the first technique  that we only used the black color to represent the depth But it wasnt effective .

Step 3 :

this is the final step but the longest one 

cause it is called adding effects .

well I took the left arm part off , and added a part from that cyborg skull to it

like below

remember that I made the layer blend mood Hard Light .

Then apply the warp transformation to place it in a suitable way.

- Now apply the inner shadow blend mood with the below values .

 Here added soe effect the same way to the arm like that

after selecting it you may place it directly like before

and I made a layer over the line layer with orange color And used stroke blend mood to it 

like below .

 - Delete some parts as illustrated Down.

 -Now Im adding some wires

  first I select it 

  then add it to the image 

-you can delete the 

 parts that are outside the area like below 

 or you just place the wire layer above the line layer

 and by holding ALT press at the middle line separating between the two layers

 it will make the wire layer over the line layer and not exceed the line layer borders

thats what I used down here .

-Now to add the light effect to it

 I made lines with the orange color but more bright using the pen tool like below .

-add it to all spot you wanna make that effect on it

 the duplicate that layer and place it under the original one 

 blur it with gaussian blur 

 it will look like below . 

-then choose the non blured layer " the original one " and apply outer glow blend option to it 

 using the values below .

Also I used tha part to make it on the stomach area like below .

-then apply that effect again to make its stomach looks like its cut 

 the same as before .

we are done here 

that is the final result
