Photoshop Tutorial : How to make 3D Effect

Hey Guys
  Today Im gonna show you how to make 3D word Effect without any other program
    just photoshop .

 Its a great Tutorial I highly recommend to apply .

 well to begin here is the final result

 Step 1 :

   -Open A new image and make agradient like the photo below

   -Now grab the text tool and write the Title you want 

   -And make sure the type color is not black 

   -Now rasterize that layer by Right clicking on it and choose rasterize layer

    -restore the foreground and background colors to white and black
     then from Filter >> Filter Gallery >> Halftone Pattern " Sketch".

    - make the values like that :
      Size = 8
      Contrast = 50

      Pattern Type = line

 Press OK

 Step 2 :

  Ctrl+Click on its icon then CTRL+C to copy the selected     

     area.

   now move to channel "window"

    then make a new layer and with the previous selection on
        press CTRL+V

 Now Press CTRL+D to eliminate the selction
   then apply that filter
 Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur  >>>>>>>>>>>> with value samll enough to be close to the    

   original one

 then from Image >> Adjustment >> Level >>>>>>>>>> increase the black value to 130

 Now this is an important step
   you have to apply it carefully
 First :: CTRL+click on the layer icon 

   then show the other 4 layers above " all this in channel "

 and hide that new layer have made

 after that inverse the selection by pressing Shift+CTRL+I

 Then press Delete

 Step 3 :  

  Duplicate the text layer 

   and hide the original

  then change the duplicated layer color to more darker that the background color

   By color overlay blend option

 Now we are going to the 3D 

   Effect 

 Now from action window 

   "you can choose as the pic or 

      from Window choose

             Action "

  Now Create a new action , name as you like,start recording , and follow these steps

    1 -  duplicate the text layer , place it under the original   

           text layer

    2 -  press CTRL+T "free transform, chang its size a little 

           bit 

           by making  " H" = 98-99 % 

                                                

    3 -  Image >> Adjustments >> Hue saturation >>>>>increase the value a little

          then stop recording

 Now select the Action we just made And Press play
   you notice another layer is made under the previous one but little smaller
   and that is the " secret " 

 Now to make it 3D press about 8-10 times to make it look like 3D 

   It will look like that

                                       

                                    

  Now merge all the copied layer except the original one

 then duplicate the copied layer 2 times

    first layer >   apply this Filter >> Blur >> Radial Blur    

     Best - Zoom - Aount=70

     Then change its blend mode to color dodge

    second layer >  CTRL+Click on its icon to select it
      then Edit >>Fill >> Fourground color >>ok

      and change its blend mode to multiply 

 Now choose the first layer in the groub named  LAP Copy
  this layer is the first layer we made from it the action 3D and didnt merge it ,    

  remember??!!

  select it and duplicate it 

    then  apply a style "any style you like that goes with the background colors"

    I choosed a gradient that goes with my colors

  Now this is the final result for the  3D effect
   But we need to make awsome

  first : merge all text layer to a 1 layer then duplicate it

    so I will add a reflection

     -  select the duplicated layer and CTRL+T then reverse it to the ground 

     -  then if you want make from it a 3D again so simple doesnt need more time

     -  add some star rays and reflection , you can download them from here ,  I made a   

         bunch of them

     -  Now replace the background with one better
