Photoshop Tutorial : How To Make Your own Phone , Nokia Xpress music

Hey Guys
Im here to make a new tutorial well this is part 2
How you feel if you can design your own Phone , amazing !

So phones these days are so, so easy to design
consists of nothing but a plate with reflection
and screen , I mean there no buttons or anything

So my point of view is if you can design the hard thing you can be a professional in the easy thing so how about designing  Nokia Xpress Music

Well here are the steps

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1 :

Open the photoshop then a new blank image with dimensions like below 

Then grab the ruler by pressing CTRL+R then make lines surrounding the phone area

Choose the red color with dd1b1b

Then from shapes choose the rounded rectangular and make a shape like below

Step 2 :    " making phone frame "

Name that layer " frame 1"

Then duplicate it >> just right click on it then duplicate it .

Ater that resize that layer to make it a little smaller just to show a thickness for the outer frame 

Now right click on that copied layer and choose rasterize layer

It will look like that 

Then change its color to black

 Choose quik selection tool

Then select the black layer

 then select the two layers and right click then choose merge layers.

With the previous selection on delete that selected area

Which will look like this 

after that we need to make the button frame curvy

so make a rectangular selection around that area 

Then press CTRL+T and right click + choose wrap

Then make the changes in the following picture

 And it will result like that

Then do the same for the upper frame but according to the following picture

But  there are three buttons on the side of the phone so I hade to break the outer frame with intersection with buttons

So I made these ruler lines like that 

And delete a appoint on it like below

Then from blending options  make the following 

Now we are done with the frame

Step 3 :    " maiking inner frame "

Grab the quik selection tool then make a selection inside the outer frame

Then make a new layer and fill it with agradient like that

After that duplicate that layer after you name it inner frame just to make it easier to work with .

Select the duplicated layer and press CTRL+T and reduce the size of it like below

Then fill it with a black color

Then  CTRL + Click on the icon beside the " eye icon of the layer "

Then select the two layers and merge them

With the selection on delete the selected area

 Again with side buttons Im gonna delete a thin line along the break point in the outer frame

Then right click on that layer + choose blending options 

And now we are done with the inner frame

Step 4 :         " making the phone main body "

On the empty area with selecting the inner frame layer

Choose the quick selection tool press on that area to select it

And fill it with a gradient 

Then choose that tool to delete a line along the body according to the side buttons 

If you do that then we are done with step 4

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 5 :                    " Making of screen "

We will make a rectangular shape  to represent the screen

So I choosed to make  a ruler lines as a border , you don’t have to make that

It is just outlines to control the body

Then choose that color

Then with the rectangular shape tool make the screen shape

You can add some effects like reflections

Then fill it with a gradient 

Then choose the body layer on step 4

 Then make that blending option

Step 6 :        " making of buttons "

As we reached step 6

Everything will not be extremely ilustrated  so plz keep pace with me

Make  ruler lines like below

  Make a rounded rectangular like that

Then duplicate it , reduce its size to form the thickness, merge them , select the inner area and delete it , then change its color

You can add some blending options

Like inner shadow , outer glow

Now make a rectangular shape with the dimensions of the button sector we previously defined with ruler lines

Then make these blending options

Or you might make your own

I made fast so its not well done , sorry about that

 Continue with making the whole buttons

And that is the result

Step 7 :

We are going to make the numbers and abc

Before that put all the layers into a grout so as not to miss it up

Then you can make your own symbols 

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Add other texts to the phone

Then you can make your own effects 

Then it is the final result

Well this is hard to make and very long , but remember that after you make this you can make any phone
