Photoshop Tutorial : How to Create Neon Stripes in Photoshop

Hey guys
  I have made a new tutorial of how to make a neon Strips in photoshop
  this is a great tutorial I highly recommend
     The previous tutorial was  Photoshop Tutorial : How to make 3D Effect

 SO as always this is the Final Result 

  Great ha?

   well Here Are the steps , very simple ,not long .

1.    Typing The text and adding blend optios    
2.    editing brush 
3.    writing with pen tool 
4.    adding the neon effect

Step 1

  Open the photo you want to add neon stripes to it ,you mau use these backgrounds here

    then write the text you like
  here I typed " Sky Field "
    If you wanna add the same blending options I used the follow these steps

•   right click ont Text then blending options    
•   choose Inner shadow , Inner Glow , Color Overlay and Drop Shadow  

  and Apply these values for each blend option

•  Inner Shadow : Distance : 4  -  Choke : 0  -  Size : 33
•  Inner Glow     : Opacity  : 75-  Color   : Black --
•  Color Overlay : Blend : multiply - Opacity : 63 - Color : Gray
•  Drop Shadow  : Opacity : 25 - Distance : 4 - Spread & Size : 0   

 So we have that photo as a background

and here is the Illustration:

Step 2 :

 Now choose brush and from Window >> Brush .

• Shape Dynamics : All Zero -Control: Pen Pressure.           

  After editing the brush  change the color to the desired color , here I choosed  fffc00

  then we are done with step 2

Step 3 :

 make a new layer

 Now grap the pen tool by Pressing  P 

 someone may say " oh crap , pen tool again " but acually pen tool is easy ,very easy to    

  work with 

 it is just needs to be practiced with alot 

 so Make a Wavy line or zigzag what ever you like 

 Now choose path 

  And right click on it then choose Stroke 

  Path

 after that a window will pop up 

  choose the brush and Check on stimulate 

  pressure

 Now with the final step which is adding the neon effect

 Move to layers window

 and on that layer right click on it then choose blending options 

 Choose Outer Glow with the Values : Blend Mode: Hard Mix -- Opacity : 45 %
                                                        Color : Orange Or Yellow.

 here I also made a color over lay because I forgot to choose the color the first time

 You think this is enough !
  no you are wrong

Step 4 :

 Now grap the Dodge tool or press O 

  And make sure its mode is highlight

 then hover over the text layer after selecting it and highlight 

  the area that the light goes over it 

 like Below.

 Now Choose Burn Toll by right click on dodge tool and choose burn tool.

 Do the same as pefore but on the area that isnt touched by the light

 it will make it darker.

 And now we are done
