Photoshop Tutorial : How To Convert your Photo into a CARTOON Image

Tonight im gonna show you how to convert a Picture into a cartoon image
first of all :
                    a cartoon image have a one dimension color , a real image has spots Gradients and nature

So when we make a cartoon image we should flatten the image first then do something with colors , lets START:

here is the Final Image :

Step 1 :

Open the photo you want to convert it
I used this

Actually This is me" Photographed by me , Im a photographer you know ".

So you will Then Duplicate it

Step 2 :

From Filter menu choose " Blur " Then " Smart Blur "

Filter > Blur > Smart Blur

And do like the photo

It should appear like that

Note : The values of any blur you apply on the photo depend on the resolution of the photo
I mean a (4320 * 3240) is way to different from (1366 * 768 ) Photo
and my resolution is 4320 * 3240
my cam has 16 mega pixles

What  I did here is that I made the Photo softer and more Gradient 

Step 4 :

Go to Filter menu and choose Filter gallery :: Go to Artistic then choose CutOut
and  set the Levels to 4

Edge  of simplicity to 4

 and Edge of Fidelity to 2

Like That 

And it should appear like that

You can add some effects

With me and " PS6 " I opened Image , color lookup then choose what you want
